Our Public Health Agency is funded by a local mill tax, by donations,
and by State and Federal contracts.
Local public health agencies are autonomous and operate independently of each other and of state and federal public health agencies. Through contracts, we work directly with MDHSS
to deliver public health services in each of our communities.
We are a Local Public Health Agency operating under the rules & guidelines of the
