             The Perfect Team Captain

 
          Objective:  Recruit a team of at least 10 walkers to participate in the
          American Heart Walk and have them raise a minimum of $100.00 each to support
          the American Heart Association's research and education programs.

                     Promote "ALL WALK, ALL RAISE MONEY, ALL RAISE HOPE"

                     Remember, Dollars Raised = Lives Saved!

                     Recruit at least one $500 Walker

                     Identify a "Red Cap" survivor on your team/in your company

                     Reach benchmark goal - $1,000 per team captain

                    Motivate and follow up with your walkers on a daily/weekly basis

HEALTHY AND ACTIVE BEHAVIORS STUDY
BY WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY
Washington University is conducting a study to promote healthy eating and active behaviors in children ages 2-6 years. Their study is of young children at risk for being overweight or already overweight. The people participating in this study will be required to have access to the Internet as well as be able to travel to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis three (3) times, one (1) hour for each visit. Eligible participants will receive either Food for Thought - a convenient and easy to use Internet treatment program, or a pediatrician-recommended website. Up to $105.00 is provided as compensation for time and effort.
