Immunizations/Shot Clinics
St. Francois County Health Center participates in the Vaccine For Children Program (VFC).
VFC is an entitlement program based solely on eligibility for children from birth through 18 years of age who:
• Are on MO Health Net (Medicaid)
• Have no health insurance
• Are an American Indian/Alaskan Native
Families that have health insurance coverage for immunizations will be referred to their private physician's office. Adults with no health insurance, those under-insured without access to care, and those with insurance with a high deductible that they are unable to pay may be eligible for certain vaccines.

Shot clinics are held every Monday from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm
A second shot clinic is held from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on the 1st Monday of each month
No appointment is necessary for either shot clinic
Up to date shot record and social security number are required
If the first Monday of the month is a holiday, the shot clinics are not available.
A second shot clinic (4:00pm to 6:00 pm) will be available the following Monday, with the
exception of the month of September.
There are no late clinics for the month of September
Effective July 1, 2008 there will a $5.00 charge for all PPD's.
There is a 45 cent charge for clients needing copies of shot records.
As of 7/01/09 immunizations costs are as follows Hepatitis A $25.00 a dose
Hepatitis B $35.00 a dose
Twinrix $50.00 a dose
Pneumovax (pneumonia shot) is $40 a dose

The immunization program is offered in cooperation with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and CDC. Our vaccines are purchased, in part, with federal funds. If you have any questions, please call this number: 573-431-1947, extension 142.
